Well. Heart of Santa Fe eatery! A must go go to place for of the main trail eatery...butcher shop, sure but the homade eats

I'd say we had a bit of a mixed experience with this place. We ordered prepared food via delivery one time which was decent. This included a tasty pizza, a decent eggroll, and a pretty below average sando. But then we also bought some really expensive local meats for grillin'. And these were absolutely wonderful (worth the money)- T-bones and sausages that they age/make themselves. Mixed, but overall pretty good. I'll give them the nod...

During the pandemic, I ordered takeout a couple of time. Both were delicious, but I always wondered if eating at the restaurant would be any better. Well, it is even better! This time we tried the fish and chip with their house made slaw and tarter sauce, and their hand breaded onion rings that also had a special sauce. Everything that was fried was crispy, golden brown, and seasoned perfectly. No greasy bits. Their slaw and both special sauces were light and flavorful. I couldn't completely break my habit for getting takeout. I am now enjoying their ridiculous rich and yummy bread pudding in the comfort of my home. The ambiance is great, classic rock, and a wonderful staff. Takeout is convenient, but take the time to go inside and enjoy their fresh food and local beer selection.

Great sandwiches and Burritos with fresh ingredients. The veggie burrito and Cubano were great. The onion wrongs are the best I've had. Terrific. Friendly staff and a good beer list. It was just a lil pricy gif what you got but seriously don't let that dissuade as the food is casual but measures up.

"But if you want to know the, um, like the thing I order when I really want to treat myself -- you know, knowing that it's really, really bad for me: I get the Bravas from Dr. Field Goods. The New Mexican plate. Bravas are just fried potatoes, and they smother them in cheese and chile and other stuff. They're totally not okay to eat, but they're my favorite." So said my friend Amanda, who works at the Market, when I asked for her take on the food. I waited for the perfect day when I'd been a good boy lately, eating my greens and exercising, so I could ruin it all with one heapin' helpin' of pure debauchery. I even added blue cheese and bacon. If I ever do this again, I'm getting a small order -- the large was out of control -- but as a general note, I'm pretty sure that this dish is the worst, and somewhat best, heart-attack-on-a-fork in Sawmill. Oh, and they do lots of burgers and they are indeed a butcher shop.

O M G. B. L. T. Burger with 9 oz ground bacon is "how everyone wishes every BLT was made"- Guy Fieri, DDD. Also delicious is the New Mexico Signature sandwich: Rich smoky pulled pork on fresh bun. Finally, Pizza is brought to another level. Amazing crust baked in fired oven
